Steve Coleman — President, Sport Abbotsford

Steve Coleman is a long-time community sport leader, advocate, and organizational builder who brings experience from across youth sports, leadership development, and nonprofit governance. As a coach, mentor, and technical director in local baseball for more than a decade, Steve has worked directly with athletes, parents, and sport organizations to improve coaching standards, strengthen programming, and promote positive sport environments.

Professionally, Steve is the Fraser Valley’s Crestcom Leadership Development franchise owner, where he helps organizations build stronger leaders and healthier teams. His background in leadership development, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement supports Sport Abbotsford’s mission to unify the sport community and strengthen partnerships across the city.

Steve also serves on municipal sport and recreation committees, advocating for facility development, improved communication between the City and local sport organizations, and collaborative community planning. His experience working with diverse groups—executive boards, coaches, administrators, and city officials—ensures that Sport Abbotsford remains a strong and effective collective voice for sport.

Passionate about creating opportunities for all athletes, Steve is committed to helping Abbotsford become a leading sport community in BC through advocacy, education, and partnership.
